Luxury accommodation in Woodbridge with the best views over Bruny Island and North to Hobart - hence the name!
High on the hill, the property is gated, providing safety and security to enjoy the fenced 4 acres of established gardens. In the cottage garden style, it boasts beautiful trees and continuously flowering shrubs with the added treat of amazing spring and summer annuals. There is some colour and perfume all year round.
Seating is available in the garden to enjoy the scents, your meals, or just a cup of tea.
Woodbridge is an excellent, quaint village with a cafe, the best post office and of course, the Peppermint Bay Hotel. There is even a local library in the form of handmade tiny houses stocking a variety of books. If you do take one - please replace it with another!
The local shop, The Woodbridge Village Store, sells homemade food, excellent coffee and a variety of arts and crafts. One of the owners is Vietnamese, so their Pho and Vietnamese rolls are excellent, along with more traditional food, takeaways, great breakfast and cakes.
The high-quality bed is King size and can be separated into two large singles if preferred. The sheets are high thread count with luxurious pillows and doonas. Blankets are also available. Sockets are near the bed, with a clock radio for convenience. Electric blankets are provided. Comfort is key!
We have 10 Guinea Fowl on the property - an absolute delight with their daily antics - and a cat. None of them will be a problem. The cat is a Ragdoll - they are anti-allergenic, so people with a cat allergy need not worry, anyway you can always shut the door and keep him out! For this reason, we do not allow dogs.

The accommodation is a large stand-alone studio with lockable access. It is a photographic studio, which we use when we have no guests staying with us. Although modern, there is history to it.
The place oozes charm and comfort - with a touch of quirky! Great lighting.
A Cheminée Philippe French fireplace gives you all the heat you could want, along with reverse cycle air conditioning. There is plenty of wood supplied.
The bathroom is ultra modern with a huge shower and quality fittings - and the best view over the Channel. A hairdryer and toiletries are provided, with quality towels and bathrobes.
In the seating area, there is a comfortable sofa, chairs and coffee table, and a bench for your suitcases. A good size TV can be viewed from the sofa or the bed. There is a generous dining table and chairs, and an area for computers with free WIFI.
Hanging space and a chest of drawers provide all the room you need, along with an ironing board and iron. A washing line is on the verandah, where you will find seating and a gas BBQ. The views over the garden and down to the dam, with Bruny Island just over the water, are delightful.
The kitchen area is well set up - a full-size fridge, a microwave/convection oven, coffee machine, electric grill, air-fryer, toaster, kettle and cooktop with quality cooking pans, crockery, glassware, cutlery, cleaning products and, really, everything you could possibly need!
Quality breakfast supplies are provided for your stay. Local eggs, bacon, mushrooms, fruit, yoghurt, croissants, bread for toasting, plus milk, pod coffee and a variety of teas. Plus The Hill House Panorama home-made jam and marmalade. Lovely!
There is plenty of room in the fridge to store any extras you may have with you.

The Hill House Panorama is certainly unusual and we hope that you find it attractive, comfortable and that you are entertained by the curiosities that will surround you.
There is dedicated parking and access to the building is up two steps. A fire blanket and extinguisher are provided along with fire alarms. The building has been sustainably designed by the owners with all bushfire requirements fulfilled.
We do not allow any candles in this space. The property is non-smoking.
